|Minimum Required QUALIFICATIONS: New York State employees who hold a permanent appointment in this title will be considered for lateral transfer. Applicants must be able to follow instructions. No examination required.|
|Additional Information: Access Services- checking in and out of materials, renewing library materials and registering library patrons via the ALMA system. Issue library safes to patrons as needed. Responsible for assisting patrons with a wide range of transactions and inquires related to the circulation of materials, patron accounts, library policies, reference and access, directional, and general inquires. Interlibrary Loan- Pull journals and monographs for photocopying, faxing, and e-mailing to the evening supervisor to be processed for interlibrary loan. Stack Maintenance- Shelve Journals and Monographs as needed. Keep journal and monographs in order and shift as needed to create space for current journals. Other Duties- assist patrons with basic reference inquires and database searching, assist patrons with the mechanical operations of the library equipment such as printers and scanners. Answer directional questions and refer patrons to appropriate personnel. Open and close the library as directed on the weekends. Ensure that statistics are taken on the weekend and on a regular basis.|
|All successful candidates must undergo various background checks, maintain credentials required for continued employment and adhere to the SUNY-DMC UHB Principles of Behavior. Clinical Faculty and Allied Health professionals must receive and maintain Medical Board authorization.|
