|Brief Description of Duties:
The selected Faculty member will work under the direction of the Cardiology Division Chief. Provide on-call attending coverage in Cardiology at University Hospital of Brooklyn (UHB). Provide patient care and rounds with cardiology fellows in PCU. Participate in fellowship education with particular focus on Non-Invasive Cardiology. Participate in cardiology consults as an attending to the cardiology service. Provide post consult patient follow-up and serve as the patientís admitting attending, when necessary, performing all related talks as the attending of record.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE ABOVE POSITION DESCRIPTION
|All successful candidates must undergo various background checks, maintain credentials required for continued employment and adhere to the SUNY-DMC UHB Principles of Behavior. Clinical Faculty and Allied Health professionals must receive and maintain Medical Board authorization.|
REQUIRED: MD degree or equivalent; NYS license. Board Certified Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Nuclear Cardiology. Proficiency in Interventional cardiac procedures. Certification in BLS and or ACLS. Strong clinical credentials, teaching qualifications and team clinical experience.
