|Brief Description of Duties:
An individual is sought to work on a multidisciplinary project to investigate the molecular mechanisms of eukaryotic protein synthesis and its regulation in an in vitro reconstituted translation system.

|All successful candidates must undergo various background checks, maintain credentials required for continued employment and adhere to the SUNY-DMC UHB Principles of Behavior. Clinical Faculty and Allied Health professionals must receive and maintain Medical Board authorization.|
REQUIRED: Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or closely related fields. Prior experience in cloning, native and recombinant proteins purification, FPLC, PAGE-electrophoresis and Immunoblotting. Experience in stop-flow and quench-flow techniques.
