|Brief Description of Duties:
Serve as faculty member in the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences. Teach Master of Public Health and Doctor of Public Health students during the winter, spring and summer semesters of the academic year. Develop courses. Advise students. Obtain extramural funding to conduct research. Develop a research program in collaboration with other faculty of the School and Medical Center. Publish research findings and other relevant articles in peer-reviewed journals. Participate in School of Public Health governance committees and/or events.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE ABOVE POSITION DESCRIPTION
|All successful candidates must undergo various background checks, maintain credentials required for continued employment and adhere to the SUNY-DMC UHB Principles of Behavior. Clinical Faculty and Allied Health professionals must receive and maintain Medical Board authorization.|
REQUIRED: Terminal doctoral degree in Environmental Health Sciences, or related discipline. PREFERRED: Graduate level teaching experience. Research experience with record of grant funding. Interest areas could be include: environmental epidemiology, exposure sciences, risk assessment, urban and built environment, spatial epidemiology, climate change.
