|Brief Description of Duties:
Prepare instructional materials, lessons, assignments and teach courses in the Medical Informatics curriculum. Develop course syllabus that meets the college and program standards. Develop and implement diverse teaching strategies that accommodate the learning styles of students. Use summative assessment measures to enhance learning. Assess studentsí progress by grading assignments & tests and submitting final grade. Communicate with students through a class management software (PRIME). Commitment to stay current and continually improve knowledge and understanding of the medical informatics discipline.

|All successful candidates must undergo various background checks, maintain credentials required for continued employment and adhere to the SUNY-DMC UHB Principles of Behavior. Clinical Faculty and Allied Health professionals must receive and maintain Medical Board authorization.|
REQUIRED: PhD or Masterís degree in Medical Informatics or related discipline. Teaching experience on the graduate level.
