|Brief Description of Duties:
Part-time Clinical Psychiatrist Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry SUNY Downstate @ University Hospital Brooklyn Psychiatric clinical coverage for weekday nights/weekends and holidays off-site call/come in as necessary on-call coverage. Evaluate, treat and enact clinically appropriate disposition for patients in the Emergency Department as well as the surgical/medical floors. Notes on all ER admissions
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE ABOVE POSITION DESCRIPTION
|All successful candidates must undergo various background checks, maintain credentials required for continued employment and adhere to the SUNY-DMC UHB Principles of Behavior. Clinical Faculty and Allied Health professionals must receive and maintain Medical Board authorization.|
REQUIRED: MD, NYS Medical License; BE/BC in Psychiatry. Completed at least 3rd year in a psychiatric residency program and has completed a psychiatry residency program.
