|Brief Description of Duties:
Endocrinology attending of an outpatient/inpatient team at the University Hospital of Brooklyn. Serve as Program Director for the Endocrine Division. SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE: Management of patients with diabetes and other endocrine disorders in outpatient setting as a private practice-based or service-based assignment. Participate in all clinical, educational and research activities as directed by the Chief of the Division. Serve as a Medicine Ward attending as assigned by the Department. Supervise and teach the medical students, residents and fellows. Lecture residents, medical students and precepts medical students during clerkships in the Department and actively participate in teaching rounds. Opportunities for research, publications and other scholarly activities are available.

|All successful candidates must undergo various background checks, maintain credentials required for continued employment and adhere to the SUNY-DMC UHB Principles of Behavior. Clinical Faculty and Allied Health professionals must receive and maintain Medical Board authorization.|
REQUIRED: MD degree from an accredited medical school. NYS Licence. Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. Participation in research, publications and other scholarly activities is a must. PREFERRED: Five (5) years experience in an academic practice.
