|Brief Description of Duties:
The physician will be accountable for providing services in the Labor and Delivery Suite during the day and on an on-call basis. The physician's duties and responsibilities will include the provision of for sixteen hours weekly on-call sessions and one twenty-four hours weekend session on a monthly basis. During the physician's on-call tour of duty h/she will be accountable for the management of the patients on the service and must provide supportive documentation in all of the patients' medical records. Additionally, during the physician's tour of duty, h/she will be accountable for properly supervising the residents. The physician will also provide coverage in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Ambulatory Care Service. The physician will assist the department in teaching and lecturing to medical students and residents.

|All successful candidates must undergo various background checks, maintain credentials required for continued employment and adhere to the SUNY-DMC UHB Principles of Behavior. Clinical Faculty and Allied Health professionals must receive and maintain Medical Board authorization.|
REQUIRED: MD; NYS Licence to practice medicine. Board Eligible/Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist.
