Brief Description of Duties:
Perform all aspects of blood bank testing, including but not limited to: ABO/Rh typing, crossmatching, antibody detection and identification with appropriate follow-ups.
Maintain quality control of equipment and reagents.
Manage meticulous record keeping and utilize follow-up skills.
Duties and responsibilities are not limited to the above description.

|All successful candidates must undergo various background checks, maintain credentials required for continued employment and adhere to the SUNY-DMC UHB Principles of Behavior. Clinical Faculty and Allied Health professionals must receive and maintain Medical Board authorization.|
REQUIRED: NYS License as Clinical Laboratory Technologist. B.S. degree or equivalent in Medical Technology, Chemical or Biological Science. Computer skills. PREFERRED: ASCP Certification and blood bank experience.
