Brief Description of Duties:
The Lead Programmer Analyst will perform analysis, design, development and implementation of software solutions. S/he will configure and manage Tableau from various data sources. In accordance with the assigned responsibilities the incumbent is expected to be technically proficient in the use of the current and emerging programming languages; database design, data visualization, data administration and ad-hoc reporting tools used to perform job. The Lead Programmer Analyst will define, develop, test and support software applications. Duties and responsibilities include the following: Ability to identify and extract appropriate data sets from various systems, proficient in designing, collecting and analyzing large data sets. Able to performance tune Tableau Data Source and Applications. Configure Tableau from various data sources. In-depth and hands on experience with Tableau administrative functions including publishing, security, administer user, user groups, and scheduled instances etc. Hands-on development assisting users in creating and modifying worksheets and data visualization dashboards. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED: Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS, HIT or equivalent experience. Solid experience in Tableau Development. 4-6 years of successful strong SQL programming experience for ETL, Data Modeling and Data Ware House. Master SQL skills and ability to troubleshoot. Extensive experience in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server. Demonstrated hands-on Tableau development experience preferably in healthcare domain. Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills. Deep understanding of data warehouse and data mart concepts. Working knowledge of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. PREFERRED: Experience with Tableau, Crystal Reports, SAP, BOE, SQL, PLSQL, TSQL, SSIS, Allscripts’ Clinical Performance Management (CPM), Sunrise Clinical Manager (SCM) or other EMR/HER. Proficiency in depth understanding of clinical work and data flow knowledge is desirable.
