| Minimum Required QUALIFICATIONS: - Two years of experience in carpentry under the supervision of a skilled carpenter or completion of an appropriate two year technical school course in carpentry. | |
| Additional Information: - Working knowledge, the methods, materials, tools and equipment of the carpentry trade. - Ability to use the tools, machines, equipment and materials of the carpentry trade. - Ability to perform moderate to heavy manual labor. - Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions. - Working knowledge of the rules and regulations of the facility governing the activities of state wards under the supervision of a maintenance assistant. - Ability to read diagrams, plans and specifications. - Ability to lead the activities of a subordinate staff. - Ability to operate a motor vehicle. | |
