Brief Description of Duties: The Department of Radiology is seeking a full-time fellowship-trained Pediatric Radiologist to provide clinical services at University Hospital of Brooklyn and at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. Opportunity exists to work jointly with faculty neuroradiologists, neurologists, oncologists, pulmonologists, and other medical/surgical specialists. After hour coverage may be required, and will be determined by the Chair or Director of Service. Academic Job Requirements: - Teach and supervise residents. - Conduct educational lectures and seminars. - Participate in interdepartmental conferences. - Participate in scholarly activities as outlined by Radiology RRC. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE ABOVE POSITION DESCRIPTION
All successful candidates must undergo various background checks, maintain credentials required for continued employment and adhere to the SUNY-DMC UHB Principles of Behavior.   Clinical Faculty and Allied Health professionals must receive and maintain Medical Board authorization.
Qualifications: Required: - NYS Medical License - Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology - Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience Preferred: - Fellowship in Pediatric Radiology - Applicants with multiple fellowships are encouraged to apply - Ability to read CT, CR, fluoroscopy, MRI, ultrasound studies and x-ray studies
