The School of Health Professions Diagnostic Medical Imaging Program at SUNY Downstate is seeking a part time Adjunct Instructor. The successful candidate will: - Prepare and deliver classroom instruction - Administer exams and determine course grades - Student assessment and feedback - Maintain student records using Blackboard - Comply with CAAHEP standards and guidelines and all school policies and procedures DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE ABOVE POSITION DESCRIPTION
All successful candidates must undergo various background checks, maintain credentials required for continued employment and adhere to the SUNY-DMC UHB Principles of Behavior.   Clinical Faculty and Allied Health professionals must receive and maintain Medical Board authorization.
Qualifications: Required: - Knowledge of medical statistics and research - Knowledge of SPSS software - Teaching experience at the undergraduate level - Ability to effectively communicate orally with students and faculty - Professional integrity - Master’s degree required, Doctoral degree preferred
