The Department of Medicine/ Cardiology at SUNY Downstate is seeking a full time Clinical Assistant Professor (HS)/ Director of Structural Heart Program. The successful candidate will:
- Provide clinical experience in the field of Structural Heart Disease.
- Proficiency in TAVR (transcatheter aortic valve replacement), Trancatheter mitral valve repair, and ASD/VSD/PFO closure.
- Participate in Cardiology Consults and on-call/weekend coverage as an Attending to the Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology Services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE ABOVE POSITION DESCRIPTION

All successful candidates must undergo various background checks, maintain credentials required for continued employment and adhere to the SUNY-DMC UHB Principles of Behavior. Clinical Faculty and Allied Health professionals must receive and maintain Medical Board authorization.

Qualifications:
REQUIRED:
- MD Degree or equivalent.
- NYS License.
- Board Certified Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and (certified or board eligible) in Interventional Cardiology.
- Certification in BLS and/or ACLS.
