Brief Description of Duties: Are you looking to take your career to new heights with a leader in healthcare? The Humanities in Med Administration at SUNY Downstate is seeking a full time Administrator. The successful candidate will: - Be monitoring and maintaining the Division’s accounts and financial records; assisting with program planning and Visiting Professors which are part of the Conley activities. - Work with Conley Scholars and student groups on Division-sponsored activities. - Provide support to the Ethics pathway including maintaining records of student participation. - Organize annual seminar course for the Brooklyn College BA/MD program. - Provide administrative support, including minutes, for the UHB/KCHC Ethics Committee. - Supervise work-study students and research assistants as needed. - Provide a welcoming presence in the office on a daily basis. - Set up meetings as requested the Director. - Assist the Director with projects as indicated. | All successful candidates must undergo various background checks, maintain credentials required for continued employment and adhere to the SUNY-DMC UHB Principles of Behavior. Clinical Faculty and Allied Health professionals must receive and maintain Medical Board authorization. | |||

Qualifications: REQUIRED: - Bachelor’s Degree and five (5) years of experience with administration and program planning, preferably in an academic institution. - Proficient in use of Microsoft Office and Outlook. - Great communications skills. |
